What are you all about?
Discovery Church is a group of people who have found an exciting and practical faith in Jesus Christ. We believe the claims of Jesus are true, and that they are backed up by solid evidence. Our desire is to share that truth in fresh and relevant ways to the people of our community as well as throughout the Greater Boston Area.
How can I get to know people?
We believe true growth of people and the church comes through community. For this reason, we've established Connection Groups - small groups that meet during the week around the Boston area to share life, develop close relationships, and discuss matters of faith beyond the Sunday morning service.
What happens on Sunday?
Sunday morning at Discovery is a casual, friendly, come-as-you-are environment where we gather to worship God through contemporary music, to learn life application of Biblical truths, and to gain encouragement and friendship through interaction with others.
What do you have for kids?
At Discovery Church, we do our absolute best to provide children with a safe, fun, and exciting learning atmosphere. For children ages 0 - 3 years old, we have a nursery run by caring and gentle workers who watch over your little ones. For children ages 4 and up to 5th grade, we have an interactive kids ministry that helps children discover the truth about God and the Bible.
What goes on during the week?
Discovery is much more than just a Sunday morning church. In addition to our weekly Connection Groups, we have plenty of other events going on - community service opportunities, classes on practical topics, and a whole lot more.
Where do you meet?
We meet at 222 Libbey Industrial Parkway in Weymouth, MA (just off Route 3 at exit 16) every Sunday morning at 9AM and 11AM.
