For you created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. - Psalm 139:13-14 (NIV)
We are excited to announce the launch of our special needs ministry at Discovery Church - DC Kidz C.R.E.W. - Children Reaching Exceptional Worship!
When? Sundays, 11:00AM starting Easter Sunday, March 27th!
In Weymouth and surrounding towns, there are roughly 5,800 students with disabilities; 5,800 children who have special needs. At Discovery Church, our Kidz C.R.E.W. ministry is aimed at meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of children with disabilities. This could include a child with ADHD, a visual impairment, a hearing impairment, mood disorders, Autism, sensory impairments, communication deficits - and the list goes on. We have the opportunity to teach these children the Gospel of Jesus Christ that meets them right where they are. At Discovery, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn about Jesus and God's love, and we are equipped to offer a safe, loving, enriching, and structured environment that meets the needs of all children.
This program is for children Pre-K to 5th grade.
